Nine Creeks

Updated: Feb 6

Nine Creeks (九溪) is a "Y" shaped stream formed by the confluence of many small streams. The crystal-clear water running in between the large stones carved with Chinese characters, surrounded by forest and tea plantations is particularly popular during the summer. It provides a cool escape from the heat and a fun experience for anyone ready to step in the ankle-deep water.

Nine Creeks in Misty Forest (九溪烟树) and Li'an Temple (理安寺) are the main attractions.

If you enjoy hiking, you can try walking along the Nine Creeks Road (九溪路) (flat, asphalt road, with moderate traffic) or from nearby Longjing Village (龙井村) to Xizhongxi (溪中溪) (quiet, stone path, with teahouses along the road).

Explanation:

Light blue stars mark places around Nine Creeks mentioned above.

I also added places where you can have lunch in the surrounding area.

In case you find this confusing, open the drop-down by clicking the symbol in the top left corner and uncheck what you do not want to see.
